I went to my first Good Charlotte concert May 8th 2003. It was sooo incredibly awesome I will never forget it!

I went with Tiffany H. Tiffany L. and Chad. We meet up with some other friends there and had an awesome time!

There were a ton of bands playing, it was the Civic Tour presented by TRL. There was Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, MXPX, and more!! My favorite part was Good Charlotte of course!

Good Charlotte opened their section of the show with "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." They also ended the show with "The Anthem."

Towards the middle of their section of the show, Good Charlotte's lead vocalist started the song saying that this song has alot of meaning behind it. He said that they wrote the song having lost many friends. The song was on the subject suicide, the song was called "Hold On." He asked that anyone with a lighter or a cell phone that lights up hold it up, this song was dedicated to anyone having a hard time in life. You may have a few hard years, but in a few years you will be out of the problems and happy you held on, he said. The song was very emotional to everyone as many held up lighters and cell phones, and tried to sing along.

Good Charlotte really rocked the house and are an incredibly awesome live band. New Found Glory played after Good Charlotte-NFG was the final band of the night. The whole show was incredibly awesome, and the mosh pit was too cool!!

There was just one thing I didn't like, this dude that had his shirt off and had long hair, and was all sweaty kept moshing and his sweet was flying everywhere and pelting people. Other than that the mosh pit and everything was awesome!!

I am really glad that I got to go, the concert was 4 hours and only cost $25, I also got a cool Good Charlotte shirt for $20!!
